The Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality is soliciting applications for a graduate student teaching assistant position for spring 2007.

A position is open as Teaching Assistant for WGST 201 "Introduction to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Studies," (T/TH 1:00 p.m. - 2:20 p.m.).
Duties will include attendance at all classes, some grading, office hours to assist students with assignments, and occasional course lectures.
Remuneration is $3,000.
Applications should include a brief letter with description of qualifications, including relevant courses taken, research or other projects related to the topic of the course, and the name of one Rice faculty reference.
